The COVID pandemic impacted our world, our country, our state, our community and our Kupuna. In an effort to support our families and care for our clients during this challenging and unknown time, Senior Options team created policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients and our staff.
Team Senior Options have adopted these standards to include:
Increased personal hygiene and protective equipment as needed/requested.
Increased cleaning and disinfecting protocol of high touch surfaces and areas within clients' homes.
Health screening questionnaire for all staff prior to shift.
Documentation of safe travel for all staff members.
Remain committed to social distancing and other recommendations established by the Department of Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Beginning March 2020 and still ongoing, all staff members are given COVID hazard pay each paycheck. These staff members are considered essential and deserve to be compensated for their hard work and COVID response efforts as they are tasked with caring for seniors.
